Story of Korean Peninsula
Individual Project (Apr - June. 2016)
(It is user experience design rather than architecture design.)
This project hugely focuses on the innovation in The Way People Interact with History in the Museum, representing the tragic historical event that happened in the Korean Peninsula. Moreover, it also expresses the vision by designing the road to reunion by fully involving visitors into the building, which contains Two Separate Circulation lines to experience the moment of distance and the value of peace and reunion.
The core concept of this design is to express and convey the historical stories by using the way of organizing space to the visitors. The main structure is the Double-Swirl Slope whose axis is being surrounded around by two separate circulations, which allow people to see each other, but never meet.
